This bash will raise funds for the school and Haitian relief efforts. Expect activities like Afro-Caribbean dance demonstrations, a Jerk chicken competition and a chance for kidz to make their own Haitian friendship bracelets….. Nice!

For Black History Month, the museum has two weekends of activities where families can take in a blues jazz performance from the Jazz at Lincoln Center WEBop band (Sun 13; 2, 3pm), make a diorama with help from artist Loul Samater (Sat 12; 2, 3:30pm; ages 5 and up) and so much more.
